About
Electronic music label run by the producer Crystal Fake (Fredrik Östling). Fredrik, who is from from Uppsala, Sweden, is no newcomer and has been releasing music since 1996 in different constellations with styles ranging from hard pumping techno, to trance, drum‘n’bass and experimental electronica. As Crystal Fake, Fredrik has released music on vinyl on the legendary Force Tracks and Martinez' label Out of Orbit to name but a few.
The label started off slowly in November 2011 with and album consisting of remastered Crystal Fake tracks recorded in Rome 2004-2005. The intention was not to startup a proper label but during the summer 2013 exactly that happened! The following releases included new mysterious techno / dub artist Deconduct as well as new Crystal Fake and Dribs material. Where this is heading is unknown at the time of writing. It will be electronic, that's for sure, made with more hardware than software and with more analog than digital equipment. But there will be releases which span a wide range of genres that would be suitable for chilling at home, intense club nights and everything imaginable (and unimaginable) in between. And that intangible Uppsala sound will always be present. Crystal Fake Music is a part of Audionaut. |
